Which product answers the problem I have?
If meal timing is the problem, review the automatic dry-food feeder's documented settings and food compatibility. Why does the portion setting not match the food amount?
Do not treat a setting number as grams. Confirm that the food meets the feeder's documented requirements, then run test servings into a clean bowl while you are home. Weigh the output with a kitchen scale and record the setting, food and result. Repeat the test to understand the output. Add up all scheduled servings and compare them with your pet's existing feeding plan, including food given elsewhere. Recheck after a food change. If results remain inconsistent, offer a measured meal separately and send the results to support.
The fountain flow is weaker. What should I check?
Offer a fresh water bowl first, then compare the fountain's water level with the manual. Disconnect power before checking assembly or removable parts. Look for hair, visible buildup, a part seated incorrectly or a filter that needs attention under the model's instructions. Clean only the pump components that the manual permits and use the correct replacement part. Reassemble and test while you are present. A scheduled meal was missed. What is the next step?
Confirm what actually reached the bowl and provide an appropriate measured meal separately if needed. Check the programmed time, food level, power indication and any visible obstruction against the manual, without opening sealed components. Record the missed setting and the result of a supervised test so support can assess the problem. Do not assume that adding more food or increasing a setting fixes a dispensing issue. When you are away, arrange a responsible person to check appetite, water and equipment; automation cannot carry out that check on your behalf.

Can I put wet food in the automatic dry-food feeder?
The PawNovi product is listed as a dry-food feeder. Use only food permitted by the instructions for that model. Wet, moist or sticky food is not interchangeable with dry kibble, and adding it without documented compatibility can affect dispensing and cleaning. Ask support if the food-size requirements are missing from the listing.
What should I check if a fountain sounds different?
Check the manual's water-level and assembly guidance, then switch off and disconnect power before checking removable parts.
